Our Level System

STARS Fitness & Gymnastics has three different level systems.  Each system is designed to suit your child’s age and ability.  The level systems are: Parent & Tot, Kindergym  and Recreational. 

 Our Three Levels

You will receive a Parent & Tot ribbon when the level is completed. 

There are six levels in this system.  You will receive a ribbon for each level completed. 

There are six levels in this system.  You will receive a ribbon for each level completed; Red 1, Red 2, White 3, White 4, Blue 5, Blue 6.  A badge will be awarded when you have completed each colour. 

Our Parent & Tot and Kindergym Levels consist of skills on the Bars, Beam, Floor, and Trampoline.
Our Recreational and Advanced Level consists of skills on the Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, and Trampoline.

Participation ribbons are awarded if a gymnast does not complete a level by the end of the session.  Gymnasts should not be discouraged if a level is not achieved within the session.  Often gymnasts will not meet all of a level’s requirements, especially at the higher levels where skills get much more difficult and require more time to learn.  At other times, your child could complete more than one level in a session as long as the skills are performed safely and correctly.  Report cards are issued to all gymnasts on the last day of each session.
